A petition has landed in the Supreme Court seeking removal of President Arif Alvi from his post for violating his oath, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Chaudhry Muhammad Imtiaz file the petition in the apex court on Tuesday, seeking court’s action in accordance with Article 41 of Constitution.
The petitioner prayed the court that President Alvi should be removed from his office as he was working as per the agenda of a political party.
Arif Alvi is not fit to hold the office of the President, the petitioner added.
