Ali Rehman's reaction to Hollywood star’s Ryan Gosling comparison

Pakistani star Ali Rehman has made an appearance on Independent Urdu, where he was questioned about his awareness of being compared to Hollywood star Ryan Gosling.

On hearing this, the actor was surprised and said that this is the first time he is hearing of this comparison and is definitely flattered to hear it.

“I am getting this for the first time. No one has ever told me this before, it’s a big compliment to be compared to him, he’s a very big actor. Personally, I have never felt a resemblance.”

Ali went on to commend Gosling for his skill in seamlessly combining serious roles with comedic brilliance.

“He is one of my favorite actors because I think that Ryan Gosling does serious roles with finesse but his comedic timing, too, is extraordinary. His film Bad Guys is one of my favourites. His performance in it is just amazing,”

However, social media users started making sarcastic remarks about this comparison as they couldn't spot any resemblance between them.

They praised Ali Rehman's looks but emphasized that there was no valid comparison to be made with Ryan.

During the candid conversation with the host, the ‘Janan’ star also discussed the actresses he hopes to collaborate with in the future. He expressed his desire to work with talents such as Mahira Khan, Sanam Saeed, and Sajal Ali, whose performances he has always admired.

On the work front, his movie ‘Daghabaaz Dil’ alongside Mehwish Hayat and Momin Saqib is currently running in cinemas.
