Hajj flights operation to start from May 9

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has finalized the arrangements for the Hajj 2024 operation and in this regard a schedule has been released, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday. 

According to the schedule, Hajj flights operation will commence from May 9 across the country and will continue without any interruption till June 9.

The Hajj operation will be conducted at eight airports throughout the country and will start at Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Quetta, Sukkur, Sialkot and Rahim Yar Khan airports.

However, pilgrims from Peshawar will go to Saudi Arabia from Islamabad Airport while pilgrims from Faisalabad will go to Saudi Arabia from Lahore Airport.

Road to Makkah service will start for the first time at Karachi Airport.

Road to Makkah service will also start at Islamabad Airport.

The immigration of the pilgrims going under the Road to Makkah project will take place in Pakistan.

Four airlines will participate in Hajj flight operations including Saudi Airlines, PIA, Serene and Airblue are involved in Hajj flight operations.

The process of vaccination of Hajj pilgrims will start from April 30 at 10 Hajj campuses.

Under the official Hajj scheme, 69 thousand 500 pilgrims will go to the Hijaz Muqadas.
