Authorities have issued a notification announcing the temporary closure of Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University due to security concerns.
According to the notification, the main campus as well as all affiliated institutions will remain closed from April 18 to April 26. During this period, all physical classes have been suspended, and the university administration has decided to shift the entire teaching process to online mode.
On the instructions of the local administration, students residing in hostels have been directed to vacate their rooms immediately.
Meanwhile, all faculty members and administrative staff have been instructed to work from home until further notice.
The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and security of students, staff, and university premises.
