Nimra Khan has shared an emotional note as she shed light on the tragic accident that nearly claimed her life a decade ago.
The 33-year-old star revealed that August 18 marks the anniversary of what she calls the “darkest chapter” of her life, a serious accident that left her in a coma and fighting for survival.
“Ten years ago today, I faced the darkest chapter of my life, an accident that left me fighting for every breath, lying in a coma, and relying on everyone else to keep me alive,” Nimra wrote.
She described the painful recovery as the start of her “second life,” calling the day her own Independence Day.
“It was painful, but it was also the beginning of my second life. That day became my own Independence Day – the day I was set free from death’s grip and given another chance to live, love, and rise stronger,” she added in the heartfelt post.
