Syra Yousuf was heavily criticized for speaking English in a ‘fake accent’ as a video from a festival in Karachi made rounds on the social media.
Yousuf went to the Local popup festival in Karachi and stopped by a stall for scented candles with her daughter Nooreh Shahroz.
In the video, she was seen talking to her daughter about the candles and the cutesy things she saw on the stall.
The users criticized almost everything about her including the jacket she wore in summers. Some even body shamed her saying that she is too lean and needs to work on her health. The others said that Syra, 37, has gotten old and tries to look young but her hands give away her old age. The majority of criticism was targeted to her communication with daughter in English.
