Russian Ambassador to Pakistan Albert Khorev was called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad on Tuesday and discussed a variety of issues with him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Deputy PM Ishaq Dar appreciated the positive momentum in bilateral ties and stressed the importance of continued cooperation in key areas, as well as sustained high-level exchanges, to further strengthen Pakistan-Russia relations.
Regional developments also figured in the discussions during the meeting.
Ishaq Dar underscored Pakistan’s consistent view that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only way forward for resolving differences and promoting regional peace and stability.
