Salaries of State Bank officers increased by 30%

The Board of Directors of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) headed by the Governor of the State Bank increased the salaries of its officers by 30 per cent on Monday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the increase in the salaries of State Bank officers will be applied from July 1, 2023.
As per the decision of the SBP Board of Directors, a 15 per cent increase in the salaries of all officers of State Bank with pension from grade 1 to 8 while a 15 to 30 per cent increase in salaries without pension.
The salary of non-pensionable Grade 2 officers has been increased by 30 per cent and the salary of Grades 3, 4 and 5 officers without pensions has been increased by 25 per cent.
The salary of non-pensionable officers of grade 6 has been increased by 20 per cent while the salary of non-pensionable officers of Grades 7 and 8 has been increased by 15 per cent.
