Bahauddin Zakaria Express split into two near Hyderabad Railway Station on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
However, no loss of life occurred due to the incident.
On receiving information, Pakistan Railways’ technical staff reached the spot, did the repair work after which the train left for its destination.
The train reached Karachi one hour late.
On the other hand, four trains could not leave Karachi’s Cantonment Station on time on Thursday.
Karakoram Express, which was due to leave for Lahore at 3:00 in the afternoon, would now depart at 4:30 PM.
Similarly, Pakistan Express, which was due to leave for Rawalpindi at 2:00 PM, would now leave at 4:00 PM.
Pakistan Business Express, which was due to leave for Lahore at 4:00 PM, will now leave at 8:30 at night.
Millat Express, from Karachi to Lala Musa, which was due to depart at 5:00 PM, will now leave at 9:30 PM.
On the other hand, Quetta-bound Bolan Mail and Shah Hussain Express have been cancelled.
