An additional district and sessions court on Thursday awarded double death sentences to Usman Anwar after finding him guilty of killing two minor girls and attempting to murder his wife.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Afshan Ijaz Sufi announced the verdict in the case registered by the RA Bazar police station.
According to the prosecution, the convict killed the two girls with a sharp instrument and critically injured his wife and brother during a domestic dispute.
