PTI leader and counsel Barrister Salman Akram Raja has said that Adiala Jail administration staged a drama with PTI legal team, adding that after long wait when permission was granted them to enter jail, administration said meeting time has ended, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
Talking to media outside Adiala Jail Rawalpindi, Salman Raja said PTI legal team was waiting and seeking permission for meeting Imran Khan from 1 pm.
He said with such tactics PTI cannot be forced to compromise on its principle stand. Raja said only the five members of the family met Imran Khan. Aleema Khan told them that the Imran Khan’s health was completely fine. He said that blocking the legal counsel way is childish act. Raja said Imran Khan was a man with strong nerves, he will not compromise.
He said PTI founder stands by its principles. Raja said Imran Khan has always talked about the principle and rule of law. Imran Khalid has said that “the Army is our Army, adding that Imran Khan said everyone should work together against terrorism”. The person they will hold responsible for what is happening to the founder personally is right. He said PTI will continue to talk to opposition parties on public issues.
