An Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) team in a joint operation with Shahdad Kot police and Pakistan Rangers started a grand operation against narcotics and destroyed an opium field in Kohistani area, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Tuesday.
According to police, the opium field was cultivated in Kohistani’s areas of Bajak Jabal, Seetake Dot, Sateley Jabal, Konkar Goth, and Rahoja Athia.
SSP Qambar Sajid Amir Sadozai said that the opium field was completely torched during the operation. Sajid Amir Sadozai said that police will file a case against the accused.
SSP Sajid Amir Sadozai said that the operation against narcotics was started to root out the menace of narcotics in the region.
