Two persons, including a minor girl, were shot dead, and a woman was critically injured on Tuesday in an armed clash between two tribal groups in the village of Jhagan Link Road in the jurisdiction of Loadhra Police Station, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
Police sources said that the clash erupted due to an old rivalry between the Bhio and Marfani groups.
Soon after receiving the report of the incident, local police reached the area and shifted the dead and injured persons to a nearby hospital.
The dead persons were later identified as Mohammad Yousaf Marfani and an infant girl, namely Zabel. Both deceased persons were father and daughter.
The condition of the severely injured woman is not satisfactory.
Further investigation was underway.
