A student of Fatima Jinnah Medical University died on Tuesday night after attempting suicide, police confirmed.
According to SP Civil Lines Chaudhry Azar Ali, the 22-year-old student, identified as Fariha, succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at a hospital.
Police said the body of the deceased has been shifted to the morgue, while an investigation is underway in light of the evidence collected from the scene of the incident.
Authorities are examining various aspects to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
