Intelligence-based operation was conducted by police and CTD on information about the presence of Khawarij in Kulachi and adjoining areas of Dera Ismail Khan on Sunday, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
According to detail, Khawarij opened fire on seeing the police, the police also retaliated with fire resultantly one Khawarij was killed and two others got injured. One policeman also got injured. The slain terrorist was involved in attacks on police and target killings, including Khati Chek, sources said. Police and CTD took immediate and successful action on information from intelligence agencies and sources said.
A large quantity of arms, ammunition, hand grenades and 01 motorcycle were recovered from the terrorist's possession. Police cordoned off the area and started searching for the injured.
