Maryam Nawaz on the occasion of her visit to Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) in Lahore on Friday directed that officers should spend more time in the field.
She appreciated and said the PDMA and related institutions did an excellent job during the torrential rains.
The protection of the lives and property of the people is the responsibility of the government.
In view of the possible new series of rains, arrangements should be made now, Chief Minister directed.
On the occasion of her visit to PDMA she got three-hour continuous briefing on the situation of rains and floods in Punjab.
