Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that government was ready to deal with PTI protest call for August 5, adding that right now PTI was not ready for it, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
Talking to journalists in Islamabad, Naqvi said that Federal Constabulary Force will have perks and privileges equal to other forces, adding that anti riots and special protection units were being set up in Federal Constabulary.
He said Pakistan was deporting only illegal Afghan who are living are for years without documents.
To a question about interchange construction issue due to rain, Naqvi said that sui gas department had opened lines near the newly-built interchange after the construction of the interchange which led to damages which had been repaired. He said opposition was afraid of their speed and development work. Naqvi announced that next project will be completed in thirty days.
Naqvi said he will not reply to propaganda. Interior Minister said fake news were aired about President Zardari. He said green belts were being broadens in Islamabad as smog issue will start in Islamabad during next three to four years.
He said government was trying to contact international donors for controlling smog issue.
He said Minister of State for Interior and DG FIA were going to visit Iraq on the issue of disappearance of 40,000 pilgrims. These two officials will get statistics and will look into the matter.
Naqvi said work has begun on the project to rebuild 27 police stations in Islamabad. Land and funding have been approved for all the police stations that were on green belts. He said by December, Islamabad's police stations will be completely new.
Interior Minister said there are 133 illegal housing societies in Islamabad and action was going to be taken against them.
He said no officer or employee of the Interior Ministry was involved in the visa scandal. The Ministry of Interior does not issue any entry visas, this matter is related to the embassy. He said Pakistanis are constantly visiting Gulf countries for visas and work visas.
