Two labourers lost their lives and one became seriously injured when a truck hit their motorcycle in Khaipur, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.
The accident took place near the Hussainabad area of Khairpur.
Sources said that the labourers were on their way to work when their motorcycle was badly hit by the truck.
One dead labourer was identified as Rasheed. The driver of the truck escaped from the scene. Police cordoned off the entire area and started a search operation to arrest the truck driver.
Police shifted the dead bodies of two labourers to the Civil Hospital Khairpur.
