The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration officials have arrested three youths who were trying to go to Europe illegally under the guise of Umrah visas at Sialkot International Airport, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The youngsters were travelling to Saudi Arabia for Umrah pilgrimage along with their mothers and grandmother.
The FIA officials said that Attiqur Rehman and Muneeb Ahmad were going to perform Umrah with their mothers, while Zubair Ahmad was going with his grandmother on flight no. PF-720.
During the initial investigation, FIA officials detected a conversation between them and human trafficker Seth Abid. They wee actually planning to go to Libya illegally from where they wanted to go to Greece on a dunky.
The FIA officials arrested all three youngsters and later handed them over to the FIA Sialkot Composite Circle. The woman, a sub-agent, Abu Bakar Goraya, was also in contact with them, and the deal was concluded for Rs5.5 million.
Interestingly, the elderly women travelling with them denied any links with the arrested youngsters.
