Kerosene oil price hiked by massive Rs34.33 per litre

Levy on petrol, diesel and kerosene unchanged

After an increase in prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD), the rate of kerosene oil was also massively hiked by Rs34.33 per litre, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had already issued a notification in this regard. The new price of kerosene oil was fixed at Rs276.66 per litre.

Before this, kerosene oil was being sold at Rs242.33 per litre.

Earlier, the federal government increased the petrol price by Rs5.44 per litre while the price of diesel was increased by Rs31.05 per litre. 

After the hike, the price per litre of petrol has been set at Rs316.15, up from Rs310.71.

The price of diesel has been increased by Rs31.05per litre. The price of diesel has been raised from Rs323.30 to Rs354.35 per litre. The Ministry of Petroleum has issued a notification. 

Meanwhile, the federal government has decided not to increase the levy on petrol, diesel, and kerosene oil.

The government had imposed a Rs80 levy on petrol, Rs70.82 on high-speed diesel (HSD), and Rs20.36 on kerosene oil.
