In a major development, the Punjab Assembly Secretariat has issued a show-cause notice to District Police Officer (DPO) Kasur Aftab Phularwan after Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Ali Haider Gilani’s adjournment motion, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
In the show-cause notice, the DPO Kasur was asked to submit his detailed reply as per the rules and regulations.
In the last meeting of the Parliamentary Judicial Committee, DPO Kasur denied receiving any show-cause notice.
Now the meeting of the Parliamentary Judicial Committee will be held on Monday at 2 pm, which will be presided over by committee chairman Sardar Awais Dareshak.
