Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Senior Vice President and Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz has said that her party embraces all colours of Federation, vowing to strengthen the party in every nook and corner of Pakistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Maryam Nawaz met a group of former parliamentarians from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who joined the PML-N on Friday.
The former lawmakers included: Ex-senator Taj Afrdi, former MPs Shah Ji Gul Afridi, Bilawal Afridi, Shafiq Afridi, Baseerat Bibi, Tehsil Mayor Zubair Afridi, Landi Kotal Tehsil Mayor Shah Khalid Shinwari and Jamrud Tehsil Mayor Syed Nawab.
While expressing her gratitude over the former parliamentarians’ inclusion in the PML-N, Maryam said her party encompasses all hues of Federation. She pledged to strengthen the PML-N in every corner of the country.
She lamented that for the last 10 years, a corrupt and inept government had been ruling in the KP with deceit and lies.
“The KP and its people suffered for the past 10 years. Terrorism returned,” Maryam rued, vowing that the PML-N would rid the people of their problems.
On this occasion, the KP politicians reposed full confidence in the leadership of party supremo Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. They also praised Maryam for her courageous struggle against all odds.
They congratulated Maryam on her re-election as senior vice president during intra party election yesterday.
