Kylie Jenner gave fans a nostalgic throwback and a good laugh after sharing a viral TikTok, capturing her daughter Stormi’s priceless reaction to her bold fashion choices during the now-iconic ‘King Kylie’ era.
Before becoming a mom in 2018, Kylie reigned supreme on Instagram with her edgy, colourful, and often daring looks from 2014 to 2017, a time closely linked with the meteoric rise of her Kylie Cosmetics brand.
Now 27 and known for her toned-down glam, Kylie recently introduced her 7-year-old daughter Stormi to that unforgettable style chapter for the first time.
In the now-trending TikTok, the makeup mogul shows Stormi a throwback photo of herself from 2016, donning a bright blue wig, a red T-shirt dress, and thigh-high boots. Stormi, stunned by the look, exclaimed, “A blue wig with a red outfit?!” while standing beside her mom, hands on her hips.
Kylie laughed off the critique, explaining that it was just a wig and that she used to love experimenting with different hairstyles. “It’s not a good combo,” Stormi boldly declared – a sentiment Kylie quickly agreed with. “I know,” she replied, smiling.
The video, filmed in the kitchen of Kylie’s Hidden Hills mansion, ended with Stormi joking to the camera, “That’s what [Kylie] gets!” as they shared a bowl of cherries. Kylie captioned the lighthearted moment: “stormi just discovered the king kylie era …….”
Stormi is Kylie’s eldest child with rapper Travis Scott. The ex-couple, who ended their on-again, off-again relationship in late 2021, also share a son, Aire, aged 3.
