Police busted an inter-provincial car lifter gang and recovered three stolen vehicles from its possession here on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Nowshera's Azakhel police station has arrested the ringleader of an inter-provincial car lifter gang in a major operation. According to DSP Muqaddam Khan, 6 Alto motor cars and 2 bolan carry have been recovered from the accused. Moreover, the sale proceeds of other vehicles amounting Rs1.2 million also recovered.
DSP Muqaddam said that the police arrested a notorious car lifter, Ajmal, from Majo in Charsadda district using modern investigation methods.
During interrogation, Wajid is arrested from the Charsadda district. He is the car lifter who confessed to the crime and named his accomplice. Further investigation is underway.
