After a long time, finally Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz is again to become active in the country’s politics as she will address a public gathering in Swat on March 22, 2022, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
All arrangements have been made in this connection.
According to the PML-N leaders, the Swat rally will give a new direction to politics in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
They claim that the political storm brewing at Center due to the opposition parties’ no-confidence motion will not leave the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) government in KP unscathed.
PML-N long march schedule announced
Meanwhile, the PML-N has given final shape to its long march schedule.
The schedule was released after the approval of party supreme leader Nawaz Sharif and its President Shehbaz Sharif.
The PML-N caravan will leave from Lahore under the leadership of party Vice President Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Sharif on March 24. The marchers will stay in Gujranwala in the night.
On March 25, the caravan will reach Jhelum. After spending night in Jhelum, the rally will move on to Rawalpindi on the morning of March 26.
Then the PML-N march will reach Islamabad on March 27.
It is expected that the PML-N marchers will stay in the federal capital for a couple of days or more.
The divisional presidents and general secretaries of the party have been directed to finalize the long march preparations in their meetings on March 20. They must hold meetings with the organizations of the party councilors.
In this connection, a circular signed by Punjab PML-N General Secretary Sardar Awais Khan Leghari has asked the party workers and leaders to actively take part in the PML-N long march.
The party office-bearers of Sargodha, Bahawalpur, Multan and DG Khan will join the caravan to be led by Maryam and Hamza on March 26.
