Funeral prayers of Pakistan’s tallest personality Naseer Soomro were offered in Shikarpur where he was laid to rest on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Relatives, loved ones, friends and people from different walks of life and schools of thought participated in the funeral prayers.
Naseer Soomro passed away yesterday after his health suddenly deteriorated.
Late 55-year-old Naseer Soomro had been ill for a long time due to respiratory problems and various diseases.
Naseer Soomro was buried in Kadri Atta Muhammad Cemetery in Shikarpur.
He was among the tallest people in the world.
He was honored as the tallest person in Asia and was listed in the Guinness World Book. Naseer Soomro's height was 7.9 feet.
Due to his tall height, Naseer Soomro was offered a job by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
He had been the victim of acrimony for the past few years due to government indifference, including to his institution.
