The 27-member staff of the Special Branch deployed at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister's House has been changed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

About 14 Frontier Reserve Police (FRP) personnel deployed on security were also removed and 39 personnel were deployed in their place.

According to sources, more changes are expected in the coming days to make the security system more effective.

The staff of the Special Branch was deployed at the same place for a long time, due to which details of internal activities were reaching outside.

Serious concern was expressed over the continuous leakage of internal matters and sensitive information.

Extreme caution is being exercised in the selection of the personnel to be deployed.

The aim of the said move is to strengthen the security of the Chief Minister's House, improve administrative matters and ensure complete confidentiality of sensitive information.
