The Government of Pakistan has issued a notification restoring regular working hours in government offices following the end of Ramadan.
According to the Establishment Division, the revised timings have come into effect immediately and will remain in place until further orders.
As per the notification, offices operating on a five-day workweek will function from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a prayer and lunch break from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm. Meanwhile, offices observing a six-day workweek will remain open from Monday to Saturday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, with the same break timing.
The Establishment Division has circulated the notification to all federal ministries, divisions, provincial chief secretaries, and relevant institutions.
The move aims to restore normal government operations after the conclusion of Ramadan.
