At least three people, including a woman, were killed and three others, including a girl, were injured after a passenger vehicle plunged into a ravine in the Bara Gali area of Abbottabad district, 24NewsHD TV reported on Wednesday.
According to rescue officials, the accident occurred in the hilly Bara Gali area, a mountainous stretch, when the vehicle veered off the road and fell into a deep.
Rescue teams and local authorities rushed to the scene and began an operation to recover the dead and injured from the ravine.
Officials said three people died at the scene or shortly afterwards, while three others sustained injuries in the crash.
Among the dead was a woman, while a girl was among those wounded.
The bodies and the injured were being shifted to a nearby hospital for legal formalities and emergency treatment, officials said.
