An anti-terrorism court (ATC) has put off the physical remand of former Punjab health minister Yasmin Rashid in the case of attack on Jinnah House and arson in Lahore.
Taking up the request for physical remand of PTI leader Yasmin, the court asked the Lahore Services Hospital MS to submit a report on May 22.
The court postponed the physical remand of Dr Yasmin Rashid due to her ailment and allowed Dr Yasmin Rashid to stay in the hospital.
The court cannot give physical remand until the fitness report of the accused is submitted, the judge stressed adding that the investigating officer can interrogate her in the hospital.
Services Hospital AMS Dr Ehtesham appeared in court and presented her medical report.
Dr Yasmin Rashid's blood pressure is not being controlled, read the medical report, adding that if the blood pressure is not controlled, her life may be in danger.
The former Punjab minister is too among the PTI persons taken in custody in connection with damaging public property and attacking sensitive installations in the name of protest against the arrest of Imran Khan in a corruption case last week. The PTI protesters also stormed Jinnah House, Corps Commander House, in Lahore, GHQ in Rawalpindi and Radio Pakistan in Peshawar.
