A mob of people attacked a rehab centre in Mominabad Faqir Colony in Karachi and took out 117 drug-addicted people from the rehab centre, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to police, as a result of the attack, the rehab centre was destroyed, and a case of the incident has been registered under the government's complaint.
Narrating the story, police officials said six to seven people left here at night and went to people's houses, after which some people filed complaints.
We said that we will take action against these people, the police official said.
After that, around 300 people came, attacked here, and tortured the police officers, and around 117 people were taken out of here.
