The Central Police Office (CPO) Balochistan on Monday issued a fresh notification announcing several appointments and transfers within the province’s police department, affecting key operational and administrative posts in multiple districts.
According to the official announcement, Acting DSP Monitoring and Evaluation, CPO Quetta, Muhammad Amir Mengal has been directed to report to the Additional Inspector General of Police (IGP) Balochistan Constabulary for further assignment.
In another major reshuffle, SDPO Othal Khalid Din Khan has been appointed as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Special Branch.
SDPO Washik Sher Ahmed has been posted as SDPO Dhadar, while Inspector CTD Balochistan Rakh Ali Shah has been assigned the additional charge of Acting DSP Othal.
Similarly, Inspector Kachi District Mehboob Ali has been appointed Acting DSP Sanjawi.
Inspector Quetta District Anwar Sattar has been posted as Acting SDPO Qila Saifullah, while Inspector Kachi Mohsin Raza has been assigned as Acting SDPO Kharan.
In another notification, Inspector Kalat Range Muhammad Ismail has been appointed Acting SDPO Tamp.
Officials said the transfers and postings have been made as part of routine administrative measures aimed at improving operational efficiency, strengthening field supervision, and enhancing policing performance across Balochistan.
The CPO Balochistan stated that further administrative changes may be made in the coming days depending on operational requirements in different districts.
