Hassan Nawaz has been once again recalled to National Twenty20 team after Abdul Samad ruled out of the T20I Tri-series due to an injury.
On Monday evening, during a fielding session at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, a ball struck Samad’s left hand, resulting in a split-wound injury to the little finger.
He underwent a medical procedure at the hospital and is expected to require approximately four weeks for full recovery before returning to play.
As his replacement, Hassan Nawaz has been added to the squad for the Tri-series. Hassan will join the squad on 19 November.
Earlier, Hassan was dropped from the squad earlier announced for Sri Lanka Odis and T20 Tri Series after continuous failures.
