Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed his resolve to work closely with the new government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to the report, in a telephonic conversation with the newly elected Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, he warmly congratulated him on his election and said that the federal government is determined to cooperate with the AJK government.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif conveyed his good wishes for Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore as he assumes the responsibilities of his office, stating that the development and prosperity of the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir remain among the top priorities of the federal government.
Shehbaz Sharif said that the federal government is fully committed to working with the AJK government for the welfare and well-being of its people, as well as for their economic progress, prosperity, and peace and security.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif added that the federal government will extend all possible cooperation to the government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
