Pakistan cricket team, who are currently in Bangalore for their ICC World Cup 2023 match against Australia, decided to take a break from cricket and enjoy a team dinner at a high-profile restaurant on Monday.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) official ‘X’ handle shared a video of the team’s dinner outing, where the players and staff members could be seen having a good time and bonding over food.

Captain Babar Azam was seen sitting with the support staff, while fast bowlers Haris Rauf and Shaheen Shah Afridi, leg-spinner Shadab Khan, and other players were seen enjoying their meal together.

Rauf and Mohammad Wasim Jr also showed their interest in the barbeque counter, while reserve player Abrar Ahmed took pictures.

The team dinner was a welcome break for the Men in Green, who have had a mixed start to their World Cup campaign. They won their first two matches against the Netherlands and Sri Lanka convincingly, including a world-record chase of 345 against the latter in Hyderabad.

However, they suffered a defeat against arch-rivals India in their third match, which dented their confidence and position in the points table.

Pakistan are currently fourth in the table with four points from three matches, behind India, South Africa, and England. They will face a tough challenge from Australia, who are fifth with two points from three matches.

Australia have also had a poor start to the tournament, losing to India and South Africa by big margins. However, they bounced back with a win over Sri Lanka in their last match in Lucknow.
