Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi handed over keys of several bulletproof vehicles to IGP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed in a ceremony held at the Interior Ministry on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Mohsin Naqvi also inspected the vehicles along with IGP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa before handing them over to him.
Talking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police is playing a frontline role in the war against terrorism.
“We are proud of the bravery of the officers and men of the KP Police,” Mohsin Naqvi said.
He said providing necessary resources to all law enforcement agencies including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police is a priority.
