The first case of monkeypox disease was reported in Lahore on Thursday, 24NewsHD TV reported.
Rehmat Ali, who was undergoing treatment at Lahore General Hospital, was found to be suffering from monkeypox.
Rehmat Ali was initially admitted with symptoms of monkeypox and then his test came positive from the reference lab of the health department.
The Lahore General Hospital medical superintendent said that Rehmat Ali had been kept in isolation and he was being treated.
