It has been decided to increase police force in the Kacha areas of Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
According to a letter, approval has been granted for new recruitments in Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur with a plan to establish 34 new police posts to maintain peace in Kacha areas.
Approval has also been granted for three new police stations and 16 police posts across Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur.
It has been decided to fill 333 vacant positions in Rahim Yar Khan through local recruitment.
Approval has also been granted for 750 new police positions in Rahim Yar Khan, with recruitment to be completed over two years.
Recruiting locals to address police personnel shortages is emphasized with approval for filling 750 new positions in Rajanpur as well to boost the police force.
