Hyderabad police have arrested 28 suspects during a crackdown against gambling and other social evils in different parts of the city, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.
According to a police spokesperson, operations were conducted by City, Sakhi Pir, Phuleli, Pinyari, A-Section and B-Section police stations.
The police recovered gambling and betting slips, playing cards and Rs 37,200 in cash from the arrested suspects.
Police said action against gambling, betting and other social evils would continue across the city.
