Three people lost their lives after falling into a well in Mardan on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The incident took place in the Machi Jafarabad area of Rustam in Mardan.
Soon after receiving the report, Rescue 1122 volunteers rushed to the spot and retrieved the dead bodies from the well.
The dead persons were later identified as Shahroom, aged 12; his father, Ejaz, 47; and Alifzada, 45.
Earlier in June 2026, some unidentified armed men entered a house in the posh area of Sheikh Maltoon Town and opened fire, killing three people, including a husband and wife.
Sources said the attackers entered the house in Sheikh Maltoon Town, a posh locality of Mardan city, and started firing. As a result, Jalal Khan, his wife, and another person identified as Mustafa died on the spot.
Police and Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the scene after receiving information about the incident.
