A woman has been killed in a domestic dispute in Kamalia’s 713 G.B. area after her husband allegedly attacked her with sticks, according to a report by the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Police said the accused, identified as Khadim Hussain, attacked his wife during a family dispute, resulting in her death.
After the incident, he reportedly went to Saddar police station and surrendered himself to authorities.
Saddar police have taken custody of the body of the deceased, identified as Abida Parveen, and shifted it to hospital for post-mortem examination.
Police officials confirmed that the deceased was a mother of three children.
Investigations into the incident are currently underway to determine the exact circumstances leading to the killing.
