The government on Tuesday appointed Dr Hamid Ateeq Sarwar as member of the Strategic Transformation Unit at the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on a one-year contract and directed National Commission for Women Chief Mohammad Ismail Iqbal to report to the establishment division, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Establishment Division already issued a notification for transfers and postings in this regard.
Dr Hamid Atiq Sarwar is a retired BS-22 officer of the Inland Revenue Service, has assumed charge as Member (Strategic Transformation) at the FBR Headquarters in Islamabad.
His appointment took effect on 18-08-2025.
