The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced salary increases for cricketers in categories C and D under its newly revised central contracts, 24NewsHD TV reported on Tuesday.
According to sources, players in category C will now receive a monthly salary of PKR 2.5 million, a raise of PKR 500,000 from the previous PKR 2 million.
Similarly, category D players have been granted a PKR 300,000 increase, raising their monthly pay to PKR 1.5 million from PKR 1.2 million.
Notably, the PCB did not issue a raise for players in category B.
In a significant shift from previous years, the board announced contracts for 30 men's cricketers, with no player being placed in the elite category A.
