Pakistani TikToker and digital creator Sehar Hayat has come forward in support of fellow influencer and Tamasha contestant Samiya Hijab, strongly condemning the criticism and personal remarks directed at her during the reality show.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Sehar, who is currently in Makkah, shared her reaction to the latest episode of Tamasha and made it clear that she believes influencers and content creators should stand together rather than tear one another down.
Sehar said she appreciated Samiya for stepping into Tamasha and expressed disappointment that fellow influencers were criticizing her instead of supporting her. She questioned why an ordinary person entering such a reality show would be celebrated and turned into a star, while someone from their own community is subjected to criticism.
She also took particular issue with comments about Samiya’s past, arguing that nobody has the right to use a person's history to determine their future or question their worth.
“Who are we to decide her future based on her past?” Sehar questioned, stressing that respect and dignity are ultimately in the hands of Allah. She added that whatever issues Samiya may have faced in her personal life, outsiders have no right to continuously judge or humiliate her over them.
Sehar further expressed concern over what she described as personal attacks and character-based remarks made against Samiya during the show, particularly those allegedly involving her past. She maintained that every individual deserves respect regardless of their mistakes or circumstances.
Addressing Samiya directly, Sehar praised her for remaining strong despite facing criticism inside the Tamasha house.
She encouraged the contestant to continue standing her ground and assured her that people from the influencer community were watching and supporting her. Sehar ended her message on an uplifting note, telling Samiya to stay strong, keep fighting and return victorious.
Her comments come amid an ongoing controversy surrounding Samiya Hijab’s treatment inside the Tamasha house, where remarks concerning her past have sparked discussion among viewers and social media users.
