A court of Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo on Friday indicted Falak Javed and Atiq Riaz for posting a fake video of Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari on social media, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During the hearing of the case, the court also summoned witnesses on the next date of hearing. National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has already submitted a challan in the court.
Earlier in October 2025, a sessions court allowed post-arrest bail to PTI activist Falak Javed in two separate cases registered against her for alleged misuse of social media platforms against state institutions and a Provincial Minister for Information, Azma Bokhari.
The court ordered the release of the activist if not required in any other case, subject to surety bonds of one lakh rupees.
A judicial magistrate had sent Falak Javed on judicial remand in these cases registered by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).
