In recognition of the outstanding and long-standing teaching and organisational services of senior leader of the Punjab Teachers Union, Raja Nasrullah Khan, a dignified, grand, and memorable retirement ceremony was organised in his honour.
The event was hosted by former Provincial Minister for Health Punjab, Dr. Jamal Nasir, and was attended by prominent personalities from the education, administrative, political, journalistic, and social sectors.
Advocate Amir Fida Paracha, former Managing Director Bait-ul-Mal Islamabad and spokesperson for the President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, attended the ceremony as the chief guest.
Addressing the gathering, the speakers said that Raja Nasrullah Khan performed his duties throughout his career with honesty, dedication, and principled commitment, and that his struggle for the rights of teachers will always be remembered. They remarked that sincere and upright individuals like Raja Nasrullah Khan are a valuable asset to any institution.
