Palestinian resistance group Hamas has proposed a new deal, offering a permanent ceasefire in exchange for the release of all Israeli and Palestinian prisoners, 24NewsHD TV reported on Wednesday.
According to Arab media, Hamas stated that the offer aims to achieve a lasting ceasefire and complete Israeli withdrawal from occupied territories.
As part of the proposal, four Israeli bodies will be handed over tomorrow, while six Palestinian detainees will be freed on Saturday, Hamas announced.
Meanwhile, the Israeli foreign minister confirmed that the second round of negotiations will take place this week.
In a devastating update, Gaza’s Ministry of Health reported that Israeli attacks have now claimed over 48,000 Palestinian lives.
Additionally, 23 bodies were discovered in a mass grave in Lebanon, Arab media revealed. This comes as the deadline for Israel’s partial withdrawal from Lebanon has expired.
