Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced head money for the arrest of fourteen hardened terrorists in Kurram area of the province who were threatening law and order situation in the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to a notification issued by the government, the price of the heads of 14 terrorists has been fixed at 13 million rupees. The price of terrorist Kazim's head has been set at three crore rupees.
The price of the heads of the other thirteen terrorists has been fixed from one million to one crore. The government has assured the locals that the names of informants will be kept confidential.
Meanwhile the government has announced the evacuation of four villages in Kurram Valley following a surge in sectarian violence. The crisis, which Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur described as having “roots going back 130 years,” has escalated in recent weeks.
In a high-level meeting, officials decided to evacuate Ucheat, Mandori, Dadkamar, and Bagan to protect civilians from the ongoing clashes. Security forces will conduct search operations in the evacuated areas to dismantle armed groups.
