Music and fashion icon Rihanna has broken her silence following A$AP Rocky’s legal triumph, expressing gratitude after her longtime partner was acquitted in a high-profile shooting trial.
Taking to her Instagram, the Diamonds singer shared her relief and faith, stating: “The glory belongs to God and God alone! Thankful, humbled by His mercy.”
A$AP Rocky, born Rakim Mayers, had been facing felony charges over allegations that he fired shots at his former friend, Terrell Ephron, during a 2021 altercation near a Hollywood hotel. However, a 12-member jury acquitted the rapper yesterday.
As the verdict was pronounced, an emotional Rocky immediately embraced Rihanna, his partner and the mother of his two children. He turned to the jury and said, " Thank you for saving my life. Thank you for making the right decision."
