The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest ODI player rankings, with India’s Shubman Gill dethroning Babar Azam from the No. 1 spot after four years, 24NewsHD TV reported.
Gill now leads the rankings with 796 points, while Babar Azam, after dropping one position, holds 773 points.
India’s captain Rohit Sharma is placed third, while South Africa’s Heinrich Klaasen has moved up one place to fourth. New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell also improved two spots to claim the fifth position.
Among Pakistani batters, Fakhar Zaman slipped one spot to 14th, while Mohammad Rizwan made a remarkable jump of six places to secure 15th position.
